Fingerprinting and Medical Check for a Kazakhstan Residence Permit, Without Repeat Visits

Two mandatory steps before you apply for a temporary or permanent residence permit. We tell you the order, track the validity of your certificates and put them into the package with the rest of your documents.

Documents

Fingerprinting for a Kazakhstan residence permit is mandatory for foreigners, whether you apply for temporary or permanent residence, and it can only be done in person. The same goes for the medical examination: certificates on the list set by Kazakh law are issued by medical organizations in Kazakhstan. The difficulty lies not in the procedures themselves but in their order. The certificates must be valid on the filing date, and if you do the medical check too early, you will have to repeat it by the time you submit the package.

We plan the steps so you do not go twice: we tell you what to do and where in your city, in what order, and we check each certificate before it goes into the package. We work in Astana and Almaty. You attend the fingerprinting and the medical check yourself, and we stay in touch at every stage.

Fingerprinting and the medical check are done in person only; document preparation and certificate checks can be handled remotely.

FAQ

How much does it cost?

Our service fee is on request. Government fees, translations, insurance and other mandatory costs are paid separately; we send the full estimate before you sign.

Where do I get fingerprinting for a Kazakhstan residence permit in Astana and Almaty?

At migration service offices or specialized Public Service Centers, depending on the city and your basis. The procedure changes from time to time, so before your visit we tell you the current location and opening hours for your case.

Can fingerprinting be done without being present?

No. Fingerprints are taken only in person, and a power of attorney does not work here. Everything else, such as preparing documents, insurance and checking certificates, can be done remotely, so that in Kazakhstan you spend time only on the mandatory visits.

Do I need fingerprinting again for permanent residence if I did it for my temporary permit?

It depends on your basis and situation. We look at your documents and tell you whether the procedure has to be repeated, so you avoid unnecessary steps and your package is not returned because a certificate is missing.

Which certificates are needed for the medical check?

Medical certificates confirming the absence of diseases from the list approved by Kazakh law. They must be obtained from Kazakh medical organizations; certificates from clinics in your home country will not be accepted. We will tell you which examinations to take and where to go in your city before your visit.

What happens if a certificate has expired?

The migration service may return your documents, and you will have to repeat the medical check. That is why we plan the order back from the filing date: first we collect everything that does not expire, and the medical certificates are obtained closer to submission.

How long do the procedures take?

Fingerprinting itself usually does not take long; the medical check takes longer because it includes several examinations. We can be more precise for your city and how busy the medical organizations are. Allow several days for everything before filing.

Do you guarantee the result?

No. Decisions are made by government agencies, consulates and banks. We are responsible for preparing and checking documents, filing and support, and we tell you about the risks upfront.
