Change of Registered Address for an LLP in Kazakhstan

We record your company's new address in its registration data: the participant's decision, the owner's consent by e-signature and a notice through eGov. Then we check that the address has been updated with the tax office, in the e-invoicing system and at your bank.

Entrepreneurs

A change of registered address in Kazakhstan is an amendment to the company's registration data; the company itself is not re-registered. The participant decides on the new address, the property owner confirms consent with an electronic digital signature (EDS), the director signs a notice on the eGov portal, and the address goes into the National Register of Business Identification Numbers. If the address is written into the charter or the branch regulations, we prepare amendments to those as well.

Filing is only half the work. The company updates its bank details, contracts, invoices and the e-invoicing system (IS ESF) separately, and if it moves to another district or city, the tax office that handles it may change too. We check all of this after filing. You can take a new address from us in Astana or Almaty, or use your own premises.

Who it is for

  • Companies moving to a new office
  • LLPs whose landlord will not extend the address
  • Branches of foreign companies that are changing location
  • Companies that moved long ago but never updated the register
  • LLPs moving to another district or city

Requirements

  • A decision of the participant or participants to change the address
  • A new address: your own premises or a serviced address
  • Consent of the owner of the new premises, given by e-signature
  • The director's EDS to sign the notice on eGov
  • Amendments to the charter or branch regulations if the address is stated there
  • The registration authority must be notified within one month of the decision

What we do

  • Find a new address in Astana or Almaty, or check your own premises
  • Prepare the participant's decision and, if needed, charter amendments
  • Arrange the owner's consent by e-signature
  • Fill in the eGov notice and check it before you sign
  • Check that the new address appears in the register, your taxpayer account and the e-invoicing system
  • Tell you what to update with your bank, in contracts and in invoices

Key documents

  • Participant's decision on the change of address
  • Amendments to the charter or branch regulations, if the address is stated in them
  • The property owner's consent given by e-signature
  • Contract for the new address or documents for your own premises
  • Director's EDS

Timeline

The notice should be filed within one month of the participant's decision; after filing we check the register, taxpayer account and e-invoicing data.

Timelines are approximate: government agencies, consulates and banks set them.

What to watch out for

  • Notifying the registration authority late can lead to a warning or a fine
  • Tax office letters keep going to the old address until the change is recorded
  • If the company cannot be found at its old address, the tax office draws up an inspection report
  • Moving to another district or city may change your tax office, which your accounting has to reflect
  • AIFC companies follow their own procedure: the address is changed with the AIFC registrar, not through eGov

FAQ

How much does it cost?

Our service fee is on request. Government fees, translations, insurance and other mandatory costs are paid separately; we send the full estimate before you sign.

How does a change of registered address in Kazakhstan work for an LLP?

With an electronic notice on eGov; the company does not need to be re-registered. First the participant signs a decision, then the owner of the new premises signs consent with their e-signature, and then the director sends the notice. The address goes into the National BIN Register, and we check that it has been updated everywhere it needs to be.

Does a change of address require re-registration?

No. A change of address is recorded as an amendment to the registration data. Re-registration is needed in other cases, for example when a company changes its name or reduces its charter capital. So the document package here is shorter, and the change can be filed online.

Do I need a lease agreement to change the address?

Not for the registration authority: the owner gives consent by e-signature instead. A lease or an address service contract is still needed by you and the property owner, and by your bank for its client file.

Do I need to inform the tax office separately?

A separate application to the tax office is usually not filed, because the address goes into the National BIN Register. We still check that the data has been updated in your taxpayer account and the e-invoicing system, and confirm which tax office handles your company after the move.

What happens if I do not report the change of address on time?

A warning or a fine. The bigger cost lies elsewhere: tax office letters go to the old address, and if the company is not found there, an inspection report is drawn up. That is why the notice is best filed right after the decision.

How do I change the address of an AIFC company?

Through the AIFC registrar, not eGov. The new address must be inside the AIFC zone. If you need such an address, we can provide one in Astana. The filing procedure at the AIFC registrar differs from eGov, and we handle that too.

Do you guarantee the result?

No. Decisions are made by government agencies, consulates and banks. We are responsible for preparing and checking documents, filing and support, and we tell you about the risks upfront.
