A pilot program run through Astana Hub that gives IT specialists a residence permit in Kazakhstan. There is no minimum income; what counts is your profession, experience and portfolio.
Kazakhstan digital nomad residency is not a visa but a permanent residence permit for digital technology professionals. First, Astana Hub reviews your online application: your occupation under the national classifier of occupations (NKZ), education, experience, portfolio and motivation. If you fit, it issues a petition, and with it you apply for permission to reside permanently. There is no minimum income requirement, and the medical check, fingerprinting and a lease of at least 180 days are arranged in Kazakhstan after preliminary approval.
The pilot runs until December 31, 2026 and covers only Astana and Almaty. The whole process, from the application to the plastic residence card, usually takes 2–3 months. We support you from choosing the occupation code to collecting the card, and you pay in stages for work completed. Applicants find their own housing.
The pilot program runs until December 31, 2026. We check whether it is still open and whether it has been extended during the consultation.
Usually 2–3 months: preliminary approval, arrival, medical check, fingerprinting and the residence card.
Timelines are approximate: government agencies, consulates and banks set them.
Our service fee is on request. Government fees, translations, insurance and other mandatory costs are paid separately; we send the full estimate before you sign.
A pilot program under which an IT specialist receives permission to reside permanently and a residence permit in Kazakhstan. Astana Hub runs the selection, the application then goes through government services, and the card is issued in Astana or Almaty.
No. The program has no minimum income requirement, so bank statements and salary certificates are not needed. What decides the outcome is your profession, experience and portfolio, which you describe in the application and expand on in the interview. That is why we spend so much time on your CV and projects.
You list a degree if you have one, but it is not the main factor. What matters is real experience in the chosen occupation, backed by your CV, portfolio and answers during selection. Certificates and courses are worth attaching too: they help show that you actually work in this role.
Usually 2–3 months from the application to the card. The longest stage is the government review of the permanent residence application, and nobody can speed it up. So it is best to apply early rather than at the end of the pilot.
The status is granted to the specialist only; it does not extend to the family automatically. A spouse and children arrange their own status separately, for example through a family reunification temporary residence permit. We will explain the order, the documents and the best moment to file them.
The pilot runs until 31.12.2026. As of publication there is no decision on an extension, so we check whether the program is still open during the consultation. If you cannot apply in time, we will discuss other ways to move to Kazakhstan.
No. Decisions are made by government agencies, consulates and banks. We are responsible for preparing and checking documents, filing and support, and we tell you about the risks upfront.
We will check whether the program fits your citizenship, income and family, and send an estimate with the full list of costs.
