We choose a bank that fits your company's structure, prepare the director and the compliance file, and support the application until the account is opened. For Kazakhstan LLPs whose director or founder lives outside Kazakhstan.
When you open a Kazakhstan business bank account for non-residents, the bank looks less at the director's passport and more at whether it understands the company: who the ultimate owner is, where the money comes from, and who the payments will go to and why. Some banks open an LLP account remotely even when the director or beneficial owner is a non-resident. Others accept foreigners without a residence permit only in person at a branch, with no powers of attorney. So we choose the bank based on your structure, not at random.
The director always needs an IIN, Kazakhstan's personal identification number. Since January 1, 2026, consulates no longer issue it, and since February 2024 it can't be obtained by power of attorney. That leaves two options: in person at a Public Service Center (PSC) or through eResidency. If a trip to Kazakhstan can't be avoided, we plan it so that the IIN, the e-signature and the bank fit into one visit. The bank decides under the AML/CFT law; our job is to make sure every question it may ask is already answered in the documents.
Timing depends on the bank and on whether the director already has an IIN and an e-signature; we give an estimate once the bank is chosen.
Timelines are approximate: government agencies, consulates and banks set them.
Our service fee is on request. Government fees, translations, insurance and other mandatory costs are paid separately; we send the full estimate before you sign.
Yes. The director's citizenship alone is not a reason to refuse: the bank looks at the beneficial owners, the source of funds and the nature of the payments. The director needs an IIN and an e-signature, and a foreign individual founder needs a business immigrant temporary residence permit, a C5 visa or a permanent residence permit to hold a stake in the LLP.
With some banks, yes, provided the director has an IIN and an e-signature and the company has no blocked accounts or debts at other banks. The IIN itself can be obtained remotely only through eResidency. If a trip can't be avoided, we tell you so honestly from the start.
There is no universal answer. Some banks open LLP accounts online, while others accept foreigners without a residence permit only in person. We choose the bank based on citizenship, the ownership structure and the countries of your counterparties.
The apostille has applied between Kazakhstan and China since November 7, 2023, so consular legalization is not needed. You will need an extract from the register with an apostille, a notarized translation and disclosure of the owners down to individuals.
A bank may refuse under the AML/CFT law and doesn't always give a reason. We work out what information it was missing, complete the file and prepare a new application to the same bank or a different one.
No. Decisions are made by government agencies, consulates and banks. We are responsible for preparing and checking documents, filing and support, and we tell you about the risks upfront.
We will check whether the program fits your citizenship, income and family, and send an estimate with the full list of costs.
