A residence permit without the right to work, for people who live on capital and passive income. A mountain country between Spain and France with moderate taxes and a requirement to live there at least 90 days a year.
Andorra passive residency is designed for wealthy people who do not need to work in the country. According to the latest available information, you invest at least €600,000 in the Andorran economy, for example in property, a stake in a company or financial instruments, and place a deposit with the financial supervisory authority that stays there until you leave the program: €50,000 plus €10,000 for each family member. You also need proven income that is enough to live in Andorra.
The status is granted for two years and then renewed for progressively longer periods. To keep it, you must live in Andorra at least 90 days a year. The investment and the deposit are paid separately from our service, and we do not give investment advice: we prepare your file and the proof of source of funds, and handle the procedure with the immigration office.
Timing depends on the immigration office and on how quickly the investment and deposit are made after approval; the first permit is usually issued for two years.
Timelines are approximate: government agencies, consulates and banks set them.
Our service fee is from $29,500. Government fees, translations, insurance and other mandatory costs are paid separately; we send the full estimate before you sign.

At least 90 days a year. If you spend more than 183 days in the country or your center of interests is there, you become an Andorran tax resident. It is worth working out how this fits with taxes in your country of citizenship before you move.
No, this status does not give you the right to work in Andorra. You can manage your own investments and receive passive income. Andorra has other types of residence for remote workers and entrepreneurs, and we can discuss their conditions separately.
Your spouse, children and, under certain conditions, dependent parents. The deposit grows with each family member, and each one needs their own documents: certificates with an apostille and translation, insurance and other papers.
In theory, yes, but the path is very long: under the general rules, about 20 years of residence, and Andorra requires you to give up your previous citizenship. That is why people usually choose passive residency for the lifestyle and taxes rather than a passport.
The country has no airport, so you can only reach it through Spain or France. Depending on your citizenship, you may need a Schengen visa for that. We take this into account when planning your application and first trips.
No. Decisions are made by government agencies, consulates and banks. We are responsible for preparing and checking documents, filing and support, and we tell you about the risks upfront.
We will check whether the program fits your citizenship, income and family, and send an estimate with the full list of costs.
